The liberal-leftist attack on traditional Christian sexual morality is aimed at undermining the social fabric, causing society to collapse so they can usher in a socialist government. To keep this from happening is why my top two positions are so important. And the threat of radical Islamic terrorism is not only external, it is taking place right here in the United States.
Our national finances are a mess: if a family unit spends 30% or 40% more than it earns, it goes bankrupt. Our government has been spending half its budget on social welfare programs for decades, and the only way it keeps solvent is by "fiscal easing" - printing more and more "fiat money" which eventually will end in bankruptcy when the rest of the world recognizes our currency is worthless. While living in Russia in the 1990s when they were printing "fiat money" like crazy, we witnessed ONE MILLION PERCENT hyperinflation, with people having heart attacks and dropping dead in the streets from fear of losing their life's savings.
Currently about half of social welfare costs go to administering the vast array of entitlement programs, and as more and more people retire these programs will grow to consume 100% of all tax revenues. We need to cut back drastically on "entitlements" by phasing out welfare, replacing it with private charity by churches, synagogues and other non-profit organizations, much more efficient because they're not supported by our taxes.
